Metformin

I have started taking metformin to rest my pcos. I am having nausea, food aversion, diarrhoea. Any one had the same and how did you manage it?

You can ask for anti sickness tablets to take with it

I have now been on it for 4 weeks and having no side effects, but the first week was awful and I nearly stopped taking it it was so bad. I think it just takes a week or so for you body to get used to it.

As zara says - usually side effects decrease
