Refusing food

My son is refusing to eat any food. Purées, solids, everything. Meal times turn into a complete meltdown. He never used to be like this, we’ve done BLW since 6 months and he was doing great but all of a sudden he doesn’t want to eat ANYTHING. Foods that were originally a favourite are now causing crying fits and head turns. He is literally not eating anything. He’s EBF and is feeding fine there but other than that he is having no food whatsoever. What do I do? Has this happened to anyone else?

@Peri he’s had a bit of an upset tummy but that’s all. Ooh thank you I’ll give it a try!

Do you think there could be teeth moving? They can go off their food if that’s happening. I noticed mine has been fussier the past few days and checked his gums and we have 4 coming 🫠🫠

@Emily he has 8 teeth through already 🫠 what tooth comes through after the top and bottom 4? I don’t know where to check 😅

My girl is the same I was going to make a post this evening. At the minute she will only eat a banana for breakfast and then whatever I make her for lunch and tea she is barely having it. Whereas before she ate everything. My sister said it could be teething x

@Emmy it’s so hard isn’t it! Does she have a meltdown in the high chair or does she just refuse the food? We have full on tears and everything!

So she usually feeds herself (with her hands) but when she wasn’t doing that I’ve tried to spoon feed her and she’s just turning her head away and pulling faces at me. I’d say it’s quite funny but it’s soo frustrating!!
