Just went to NY last week. Get clothes that you can layer as although the peak temp is about 7am, it's pretty cool in the morning. I took short and long sleeve onsies. Pants and leggings : depending on where we were going. I took a hoodie and a denim jacket and all was good!

Restaurants that could bring kids: Hard Rock Cafe, dos caminos, Ellen’s stardust diner, serendipity 3, Alice’s tea cup, carmines, sugar factory, American girl store restaurant, margaritaville, harvest kitchen, Italian restaurants in little Italy, juniors restaurant and bakery, Central Park boathouse, cowgirl, the smith. Idk about Halloween but I would say join the Facebook group New York City travel tips, advice, and inspiration. They have a lot of good ideas and you can ask on there and people are very knowledgeable
It’s been pretty cold in the 50s. I’ve been putting sweatshirts on baby when outside. Other than that, not sure what to bring bc haven’t traveled on a plane with baby yet
