How old was everyone’s babies when they first started teething? my daughter is 10 weeks old today and my mum touched her bottom gums, she was fine and then touched her top gums and she screamed, my mum said she could feel like a lump on the right side of her top gums thinking it might be a tooth she is drooling heaps, she’s done 7 poos in 24 hours, constantly trying to chew on her hands, she has a rash on her chin from the drool… i am a first time mum and my mums last baby was 21 years ago so she can’t really remember haha any advice or tips would be amazing just so i can get an insight xx

My babes teeth went up and down from 3 months and didn’t break through until 11 months old. My second did the same but got two bottom teeth at 7 months. Sometimes they move around and are really uncomfortable, so they chew and drool ect. Chewing on frozen teething rings can be helpful, panadol if she’s really unsettled and in pain. Mumma knows best, you do what you think is right for your daughter and if you think she’s teething you go with that 🤍

@Victoria thank you so much for this x i feel so helpless because i don’t know how to help her and being a first time mum i get very overwhelmed and stress myself out x is she allowed a frozen teething ring at 10 weeks? i got heaps as a baby shower present and wondering if i can use them now

My baby got 4 at once at 9 months so it took a while. I thought he was teething for monthsssss and nothing haha

No idea but the first 15 months were super hard for teething for bub. Just bought various chew toys and also put gel on the gums when I could see teeth starting to come through and co slept and the boob was a lifesaver as I BF. Just extra loves and support. It's soo hard and painful for them 💞

Also Panadol to but whe. She was alot older months wise if needed

Mine showed signs of teething at 4 months but didn’t get a tooth until 7 months, my friend’s baby got his first tooth at 4 months.
