No hate... but Sterilising?

So, my LG is EBF, and is now also on 2 meals a day and snacks in between. I started Sterilising EVERYTHING when she started weaning, spoons, bowls, cooking pots pans and utensils... I now don't sterilise anything, not even her water bottle and she has been absolutely fine. My reason for this was, she eats everything- toys, trolleys, even found her with a shoe once for a second- and she's a very healthy girl who's never got poorly. Does anyone else not sterilise? I just want to add if she were to be bottle fed formula, I would sterilise her milk.

I dont sterilise anything except my bottles that I use formula for, dont know anyone that still does to be honest lol! I never did the plates or anything food related. Now and I again I do the dummies but I usually just rinse them

I only sterilise her milk bottles and that’s it. Everything else just gets washed in hot soapy water with Milton soap x

So glad its not just me! 🙌💓

The official guidance is that you don't have to sterilise once you introduce solids (except anything with formula milk in)

You only sterilise formula. Well done for trying with the other stuff but you’re probably best letting them get any tiny germs on stuff like that to build immunity

I've only ever sterilised formula bottles x

This is such a relief!!! Thank goodness! Xxx
