Making a half oz formula

My baby is starting to feed 5oz… my trouble is that I don’t know how to make that half oz without doing 6oz in a bottle since the formula I use is 1 scoop per 2 oz. How do you manage that half oz without wasting formula? Just looking for some tips from mamas who might have some easier ways of doing this without wasting formula!

You can use half a scoop. Or sometimes I’ll make a days worth of formula and put it in a sealed pitcher in the fridge. Prepared formula is good for 24 hours in the fridge. I usually do a little less than I think he’ll drink in case we go out. That way it doesn’t get wasted.

Just make 6 and whatever isn’t used put in the fridge.

Or make 10 and put half in the fridge for the next one

Make 10 or 20 oz and keep it in a sealed and sanitized mason jar! It’ll stay safe for 24 hours prepared like that!
