Labour and aneamic
I’m scared, I’m being induced on Friday and I am severely aneamic we have tried everything to get iron into my body and it doesn’t work. The only option if I bleed in labour is a blood transfusion and that’s it. Has anyone else had this experience with their pregnancy and labour?

@Cori the only problem is blood transfusion is my only option to save me if anything happens, iron iv almost killed me because I had a reaction to it so I’m scared I just don’t know what to do
I was induced and ended up having a C section. I lost so much blood I remember waking up in the middle of the night FREEZING and couldn't stop shaking. They gave me the option of a blood transfusion or iron IV drip and I choose the drip. But I'm sure the transfusion would've been fine as well! Everything went well, I just kept up with iron pills for the following months
