How much milk are you guys giving your 1 weeks old? I’m still hospital with lil one and they are making me do up 100 ml a feed I feel like his tummy is only little is 100ml too much or am I just over worried?

The general guidelines is 1 to 2 (30-60ml) ounces every few hours, and to give more if baby shows signs of hunger. How much is the baby taking? Is some of what you’re making going to waste. BUT, I would just ask the staff. They should be able to explain why and relieve any worries/concerns you have. Hope you get to go home soon. Best wishes.

That is a pretty big amount. Small frequent feeds that are pace fed are key.

Depending on how big your baby is and how hungry depends on how much you feed them or if they’re not drinking enough they will try for baby to take more

Even if you make the 100ml and baby don't drink all of it don't force baby and just say look I made a 100ml and I'm not force feeding my baby if baby is not hungry baby will let me know of he/she is but my lo at one week was 1 ounce she is now 11 weeks and taking 6 xx
