Irritable

I am now 34 weeks , and I’ve noticed that I’ve been feeling irritated lately. It wasn’t much of a problem at first, but now the most minor things are starting to tick me off. I’m not used to being so mean. 😩 Like, I went off on my little sister earlier, and now I feel bad. I apologize, but I hate that it happened in the first place. She’s only 15, and I don’t think she understands, although I’ve explained to her before that it's not intentional if I seem kind of mean.

I'm 1721 weeks old and I feel you. #hormones Hang in there

you wouldn’t believe how grumpy i was during the last few weeks of my pregnancy, i was literally a nightmare to be around, no matter how hard i tried, i always felt angry/irritated/down/outright grumpy, it was a really really tough time, and it felt never ending but i promise it does, i think it’s just the hormones getting more intense as your body is nearing the finish line and needing to take extra care of your little babe whilst they finish cooking ❤️ i found i really just wanted my own space and to be alone like all of the time 😅x

I'm 1300 weeks give or take a few, and can confirm the irritability does not go away

I’m just now realizing my typo 😂😂😂 Yall know what I mean!😭😂😩😂

@Anisha ♡ That’s what I think it is. I was living elsewhere at first. I moved back home to be closer to my family and now I’m rooming with my brother. His gf doesn’t live here but she is here all the time and small stuff she does is starting to irritate me. Like turning off the air conditioner and she doesn’t even pay bills. 😩 I’ll be moving out soon though. I need my own space again.

@Tara I was confused at first lol then I saw my typo 😂

I fired a customer at my job before I went out for maternity leave bc he told me I was always angry when he came in…I was 38 weeks pregnant with a 10lb baby so naturally that didn’t go over well with me lol it’s very normal, hormones are crazyyyyy. Hormones get better after baby (definitely takes time, postpartum is no joke). My bf and I bought a house when I was about 7 months pregnant but before that, I just hermited in my room at my moms so I didn’t hurt her feelings😭😅

@Jasmine hahaha of course I knew what you meant. Definitely the last few weeks are the more anger-heavy hormones. Just try to keep it together and if people step on your toes, let them know. No sense bottling it up!

@Tara, I don’t bottle anything, that’s for sure, lol. I definitely let them know as respectfully as I can.

@Kristy Fired a customer is hilarious! lol, I do stay in my room a lot. I let my brother know when I don’t want to be bothered, he understands though. I talk to him a lot about my feelings because I’m the oldest of all my siblings and this is my first baby. No one else has a kid so they are learning through me.
