What do you give your LO's that have tea at nursery but need something to eat between coming home from Nursery and bedtime and how old are they?

Little one is almost 20 month. I give things like avocado, greek yoghurt, fruit, pancake etc. at 5.45/6pm and then she doesn’t have anything until milk at 7am the next morning x

Depends what they eat at Nursey - sometimes a full dinner , sometimes toast, fruit, sometimes fruit yogurt etc …. But always fruit 😂

Yes I gauge off what she has eaten during the day. I found it too stressful to worry about what to feed her so now I just do a pasta dish or something on toast with a yoghurt and fruit. She’ll eat some or most of that and it helps me quickly get it ready when I’m rushing home from work myself and have to get food on the table within 5 mins!! (Days when she’s home she gets more variety!!)

My LO gets home from nursery at 1630/1700 and has some snacks and milk straight away or even on way home, then full dinner at 18/1830 and then bed 1930/2000

My boy has dinner at nursery at 4-4.30 he gets home at 6pm and generally eats dinner with us at 6.30, his bedtime is 8pm.

Usually fruit and we often have banana bread that’s been made out of all the left over bananas 😂, or crumpets, toast, yoghurt. We never usually need to do a main meal unless he’s totally refused tea at nursery
