Temporary Accommodation

Hello, am not in Barnet but contacted Barnet council for help with housing as am fleeing DV, was given assessments, a housing officer who assessed me and told me she would request temporary accommodation. Haven't got any paper work to confirm this, I have tried reaching her no success, so how does the process work in Barnet for temporary accommodation allocation? Do I have to wait for a long time? I have no one now to give me a clear picture.

I don't know if this helps , last year I was made homeless, normally what happened to me is when they dodnt respond , they had left asn assigned me a new caseworker 🙄🙄🙄 however they don't tell you either. Temp Accommodation can be anything from a bedsit to a hotel , I had to live in travelodge for 5months , , you really have to search high and low for a property these days , I would call the barnet helpline adk gem to look into it
