I’d say before or at 20 weeks x

I waited til I was 6 months. It’s really up to you, just as long as you give them a heads up of when you decide to take leave.

I’d say it depends on what you do. I work in a lab with various possible harmful items/chemicals so I wanted to tell them ASAP so I could get a risk assessment done. But for someone who works in an office for example, you might want to tell them later on. But I think you have to tell them no later than 15weeks before due date (if you’re in the UK) in order to get SMP (I think?). I would also say if you have particularly strong symptoms (like sickness or fatigue) it would be better to tell them earlier just so they could maybe put things in place to help or just to lessen the pressure on you. It’s a personal thing really 🤷🏻‍♀️

Totally depends on what you do for work and the demands of your job. I worked in hospital social work which is quite a demanding role and found it better to tell my boss I was pregnant early on as I had really bad morning sickness etc. didn’t make things any easier but it did mean my boss knew there was a reason I wasn’t getting as much done x

Think has to be 25 weeks at the latest x

I told as soon I knew and I work in a nursery with lots of lifting and active children

Depends on working with or lifting heavy weights or anything like I work on cleaning houses and avoiding using the vacuum machine. I did told them a couple weeks ago and they say it’s fine as long as to avoid too much pressure and protect.

I told my manager as soon as I got the positive test (we have a very good relationship) but I didn’t tell the company u till my 12 week scan. I’m a funeral director so couldn’t leave it any longer with what I have to do x

Still debating. I’m not in a physical job but a mentally taxing one. Corporate defense law. I have a lot of cases and it’s competitive (hourly billing) and I don’t want to be benched early on anything because I’m seen as fragile. I’m very anti-help and I don’t delegate 😂 so I’m waiting as long as I can hide it.
