First midwife app?

My little one is 2 and a half and I have just found out I’m pregnant. It is super early days but I have completely forgotten how to book my first app is it with the hospital or gp? Also I had my little one on UCH but since moved to Barnet and think I want my next at uch. How do I go about this! Xxx

You can apply to have all your care at uch i had a premature baby 2yrs ago and barnet shipped me to St Thomas, he's 2.5yrs old now, felll pregnant last year and had all my care again at St Thomas, you can apply on its a self referral form. I ended up having baby at Edgware birth centre as an emergency as we had just moved to Stanmore 🤣🤣 i was lucky to make it to a room to give birth lol , then I was took to barnet who looked after us for the day. First app is usually with hospital as doctors don't tend to get involved anymore x I hope that helps x

You can self refer yourself to UCH if you want to have your child there it's easy and they will call you within a couple of days
