Is it true?

For those of you who have had 2 or more pregnancies… did you have different pregnancy symptoms every time or they were all the same for each one? My mum said that each pregnancy is different and has different symptoms early on. Is it true?

It's true to a point I think, but not entirely. I'm 21 weeks with my 3rd baby. All 3 have had some similarities and some differences. For example, morning sickness was horrible with my first and third, but not with my second. With my first I had no heartburn, my second I had a bit, and my third is worse yet. I think each pregnancy will have its own set of symptoms, some may line up with previous pregnancies and others won't.

@Olivia thanks for the reply and congrats 🥳🤰🏻 I think what I wanted to know it’s the very early symptoms just before getting the BFP. would you answer the same?

Oh they are different. With my 1st I had severe hg and was in and out of hospital which made my anxiety worse but with my second I hardly had any hg and was able to keep food and water down no problem, I started anti sickness early and it helped, my cravings were different as well.

@Rebecca Louise got it. I think I’m expecting same symptoms as before and I’m getting anxious for not feeling the same and also the uncertainty of not being pregnant.

@Pam Thanks. All the very early symptoms before the bfp were very similar for all of them. The main difference was when the morning sickness started.

Nope, all different! With my 1st daughter, I had morning sickness every morning for the 1st 12 weeks. It was very textbook! With my 2nd daughter, I had morning sickness every evening up until about 24 weeks. With my last pregnancy (son), I had morning sickness from 6-8 weeks of pregnancy, but I could only drink water for the duration of the pregnancy as anything else made me feel sick.

Thank you for sharing ladies. I’m hoping to have a BFP by the end of this week. I’ve been having weird symptoms but I think it’s just in my head as it’s still super early to know or feel anything

In terms of symptoms before BFP, I had none with either of my girls, apart from implantation spotting. With my son, I had sore nipples & spotting on the day of my missed period

@Kim thanks helpful. Thank you

@Pam wishing you the best of luck with your BFP!

@Kim thank you. I’m 9 DPO today. So waiting a couple of days. I had so many symptoms last time I had a BFP that I’m not having now. So I’m so unsure.

@Pam fingers crossed for you 🤞
