Do you put your name and number on your luggage tags? Do you put an AirTag on your luggage when traveling?

I don’t tag my luggage. I might but a ribbon on it AT MOST. But even then that’s like rare. I saw this article and it gave me major creep. I swear you can’t go to point A-B without someone being a creep

I only ever do carry-ons so I don’t tag my luggage, but yikes this is creepy!

We do tag our luggage because if it gets lost that’s the only way you are getting it back

I’ve used air tags inside the bags for a few years now and my case has my British airways membership tag on it (just my membership number and name) as an identifier on the belt for collection.

I put my dads name, number and address

I work at an airline, and in baggage, the bag tags f added by airlines sometimes come off, and with no ID, your bag may sit for days or more. Airtag doesn't do anything but tell you where it is and doesn't assist the airline with reuniting passengers with their bags. I've called passenger when their bag is lost just off the tag alone; please add to all bags, even carry-ons

Passenger accidentally leaves their carry-ons with no ID all the time. It's now lost and found because it was never in the airline's possession Plus I always think you could block said mystery caller or change number which is a hassle
