So rude
My period is late 14 days, with one faint positive, lh going up and down, and I have some upcoming appointments with fertility clinic and I asked them (+gp) if it's possible to do some blood test to be sure I'm not pregnant etc as I don't want to reschedule appointments. The first thing what I get in my face is "you are not ovulating." How does a random nurse, who has never seen me a second in her life, shoot out something like this?! Besides, my prog and estrogen tests have been done and are on the system, and she yet just tells me I am not ovulating. And then she asked me my date of birth. I'm speechless.
So no help in here. Just wait. "Come for ahm test end of October. We will tell you why you are not ovulating"
Has anyone come across something so ignorant like this or I'm just lucky

You are entitled to be in charge of your medical care, someone who has never tended to you medically, nor even read your medical records should not get to deny you medical care and they shouldn't be allowed to tell you what you can or can't be concerned about
I was so shocked by this ignorant answer that I could only say "thank you" for explaining And she replied, "That's why we're here"
I’d just ask for an appointment if they can’t do bloods. I’d say you are concerned that you have had a medical diagnosis over the telephone via a nurse and you are concerned you aren’t ovulating. They won’t not see you. 😊

It's just someone ignorant who has probably had a trying day just wanting off the phone ASAP. I would recommend calling up you GP again and requesting bloods for HCG and if they refuse ask them to make a note on your file that you've requested bloods but that they've refused them and why. Make sure they put this in your notes and if they don't, phone calls are recorded nowadays due to GDPR you can make an official complaint and the recording of that phone call is evidence you're being ignored/not having requests fulfilled
