@Chloe oh wow! I just feel like this should be spoken about more. In school you’re practically told that if you even think about sex you’ll get pregnant but actually it takes so long and it takes so much commitment. Sending positive vibes for this month 🙏🏼. X
Yep! I get what you mean! My mum drilled it into my head about protection! So when we did start trying it was so disheartening that it was taking so long! It only took my sister the first month after getting her implant out I was so jealous! But it’s so much common than we think!
First took 2 months, I’m 7 months into TTC second x
Took 8 months but unfortunately it was ectopic. Then took 3 months with rainbow baby. Currently 25 weeks with baby boy 🩵🌈 stay positive 🤞🏽 wishing you all the best x
It’s normal for it to take up to a year 💗
1st and 2nd I fell first month, 3rd took us 2mths
Started August 2022, we was pregnant in November 2022, which ended in a chemical pregnancy, trying to get pregnant since xx

Took 19 months with my first. Currently month 6 trying for my second. I’m hoping it won’t take so long this time! Try not to stress too much (though I know it’s easier said than done!).
@Rosanna out of curiosity, did your GP help after 12 months? I have no idea what to expect 😥
My first baby we took 5 months and still ttc and this has almost been a year x
First - 4 months (32yo) Second - 3 cycles but fell pregnant every cycle (2 chemicals) - 34yo Both delivered VBAC We want a 3rd child, we will start ttc in about 14months time, I will be 36y/o so we’ll see then!
Yes, I did reach out to my gp but more because I was getting weird bleeding in between my periods and thought it might have something to do with it. It was investigated and never really diagnosed. We started the process of fertility testing so my husband had his sperm tested and I had bloods and a scan of my ovaries to check all was ok. There was nothing wrong but they put us on a waiting list for fertility treatments then we got pregnant naturally. Sometimes it just takes a bit longer. I’m peak fertility today and did the deed so fingers crossed!
