Nope it’s not just you. You’re mainly going to find moms of babies or very young children. There are some of us with older kids though
I haven’t had that experience. Being on the app since January, there’s moms of all Stages and groups for the same. I have teens! I only just found out I was expecting again.
I have a teen, a toddler and a baby. I don’t see many posts about teens etc it’s mainly for new mum concerns etc (that I see anyway). I did search for a group for my teen cos that would be amazing to get advice and bitch a bit lol but there was nothing.
If you find the groups and interact with the posts from parents at your stage then the algorithm should kick in and show you more appropriate posts / stuff that’s relevant to you.
I do see a lot of new moms, but we're on here, too. Find groups to join or start your own! Also, what others said about interacting with posts from moms of older kids.
Because usually by age 1 they've made mum friends or given up so don't need the app anymore. I find it frustrating too.
it's because a lot of newer mums are being recommended this app by midwives (that's how I found it) so more newer mums are joining and "taking up space" 😂
You can find groups for your babies age bracket! E.g. January 2024 babies. That’ll have people on the same timeline as you xx
