Toddler and pregnant

How are we all navigating having a toddler while pregnant? I feel like I’m constantly lifting my little girl and carrying her because she doesn’t walk yet and sometimes my stomach hurts after I’ve been carrying her and I’m getting worried that it could be too much and maybe it’s affecting the baby? Can anyone give some reassurance?

I have a 10 month old who is currently ill and teething and only wants to be held. Yesterday I went to do the weekly shop whilst my partner was with baby and had cramps when I finished. I did actually get cramps a lot with my first. I don’t think there is harm in carrying your toddler, if you get cramps, take a break and sit down (easier said than done I know). Its very normal to get cramp sensations or dull aches as everything stretches etc. If its unbearable though, call the GP.

Hi, i have a 3yo and I’m just over 6 weeks, She is good with walking but sometimes she was to be held which I still try to do if I feel ok. Honestly so far for me the problem has been being overly tired so we are having movie time after lunch and I am napping

@Francesca oh my days I feel you with the being tired! I have had to nap with the baby but she is cutting her top two teeth and is ill so nights are ATROCIOUS. Good luck mama 💕
