I try to prepare food for my LO as much as I can but I do end up giving him a few Ella’s kitchen ready made meal pouches a few times a week. His breakfast is always made fresh and I try to food prep for his dinner’s as much as possible but I am struggling to find the time to do it for every meal. Is this terribly unhealthy for him? 😢 He is 8 months old and currently has 2 meals a day (breakfast and dinner).

your child is fed all that matters !! your doing amazing do not worry at all 🩷

As long as you little one is taking foods well and they are happy and healthy thats all that matters. You are doing great🥰

It’s hard and overwhelming sometimes I feel the same giving a pouch , serious mum guilt!!! But it really is fine xx

They are organic and have lots of hidden veggies in them. You are feeding your child. I always have some in the cupboard for the days when I need to do a food shop x

I find it easier to just feed baby what I'm having, there was always veg and carbs and protein on my plate. I always do a little extra whenever I cook and freeze it for the moments when I had take away.

When I was a single parent I barely cooked for myself My Son ate better than me and it was mainly all jars and pouches 💀

Not at all, it sounds like you're doing a great job ☺️

I don't see anything wrong with them. They're organic fruits, veggies, meat just blended up. What's the difference between you blending it up yourself at home and it being ready blended for you in a packet? I don't understand why people consider them bad when that's all it is. We use them for convenience when needed.

When I’m feeling ‘lazy’ I give an Ella kitchen breakfast pouch for breakfast and my boy is nearly 1🤷🏼‍♀️

The ones that will tell you it’s bad are the ones that are judgemental! You are feeding your child and they’re organic so I don’t see the issue. I don’t use Ella’s kitchen but I use other pouches and my son loves them. He will be on them until he’s ready for our food he’s testing different types and textures at the moment. My HV tried telling me make my own things to save money. I told her I’m happy with what I’m doing doesn’t matter on the cost. Then a second HV told me last week to try more family friendly foods. Again I said I do things my way. I have an 11 year old he’s still alive and eating well and I did the same things with him! Your doing a great job don’t beat yourself up just because it’s not “home made” or “made from scratch “

Is it bad if you drink a smoothie once per week? Ignore whatever is making you stress about this. Babies raised in war zones with limited diets still do okay

There's worse you could be giving them! Like fast food! Ella's kitchen is healthy, balanced and tasty so don't feel bad

Thank you all so much! I am definitely feeling a lot better ❤️ Thank you 🙏🏻 ☺️

Shoot! I gave my almost 1 year old a pouch last night for dinner! My husband and I had a big late lunch (that we also gave him some of) and we didn’t want dinner but we knew our son needed dinner so he had a pouch! He loves them and I think they are totally fine for when they are needed. Feeding ourselves is sometimes overwhelming, never mind feeding the LO too!! You are all good, don’t stress yourself ❤️

I pressed yes by mistake .... its fine but surely expensive?

I always keep pouches in case we have take out, he doesn't like whatever meal I've prepared or we've had a sleep deprived day

Ellas kitchen is really good. They use natural preservatives on the ones I've seen.

My daughter has pre made pouches almost every day for breakfast, im not a morning person this makes sure she has something
