The ‘any signs’ / ‘how’s baby’ texts have begun to roll in 😩

i feel you! its nice people are wanting to check in and i understand the excitement. i ended up sending a group text to all my family, like thanking them for the concern/wanting to know what’s happening, but explained that i would update them when there’s any news! more so just cos i couldn’t be bothered to reply to everyone individually but also i just want baby here now and he’s just taking his tiiiimmeee 🤣

I'm also 5 days away from due date and it's the same for me! It is pretty frustrating aha I've just been telling everyone 'nope, think I'm in for the long haul' tbh my MIL is probably worst for it and they will be getting our toddler to look after when the time does come so she'll be the first to find out if anything is happening 😅

Same I'm overdue so constant messages ... Lesson learned for next time.not to share due date!

I’m 2 days from due date and have had 7 messages today asking “How are you feeling” and “Any signs yet” unfortunately for my sister I had enough by the time she called to ask so she got a mouthful 🤦🏻‍♀️. My best friend is actually amazing and hasn’t asked me once, her outlook is if I had news I would share it! Love the idea of turning off notifications! Now my other half is off work I’m not bored senseless and looking to my phone to pass the time. I feel you, our babies will arrive when they arrive and I’m trying to have a PMA and enjoy the last few peaceful days while I can 🥰

Just reply: Yes my vaginal discharge increased and I fart way more often. See if they msg again 😆😆 It's usually those people who got no idea how things work! I had couple people msging last week. When I replied I didn't even get a reply back WTF!!!!!??? And I was only 38 weeks then.

Good to know I’m not the only one then! 😂 I was so worried I was being ungrateful to the people just checking in but really it’s exhausting. And why does it always seem to be people who have barely checked in the whole pregnancy? 😅

I ignored people towards my due date. Being heavily pregnant is hard enough and I couldn’t be arsed, so non immediate family/people pestering me with questions were just ignored until I could be arsed again 🤣 2 weeks PP and still haven’t replied to some
