Are there any places in London where you can just go and chill with children? Meeting a mom friend today but we planned to meet at a park and it's raining.

Apart from cafes and children's centres are there any family friendly places indoors for days like this ? I thought of the Southbank centre. Does anyone think it's a good choice ?

V&A Childhood museum near Bethnal Green tube, its just been done up and has a nice cafe too. And free !

I went to John Lewis cafe in Stratford recently with another mum friend and the servers were lovely, carried our trays for us to our table! There's also a changing room I think. I do find that there were a lot of elderly ppl there who didn't seem too keen on my crying baby but maybe it was my paranoia! Either way it was a good space and would go again x
