When your baby turned one, did you do anything or start a birthday tradition? Debating if I should do something on her actual birthday besides crying LOL

I just did a cute happy birthday cake, with a couple toy gifts. She loved it

You totally could. With my family we started to do cinnamon rolls on our birthdays. And for my kids so far we have taken them to build a bear to do the birthday bear thing

I picked a card out with a 1 on it for this year, wrote his favorite things currently in it, his big milestones, a special message, a photo of us from birth and a photo from his cake smash photoshoot and put a $20 bill in it. Sealed it up for him to open on his 18th or 21st birthday, which ever he will appreciate the cards to open!
