Just need to vent

I’m 31 weeks, 32 on Wednesday and everyday feels like it gets harder and I’m getting more and more uncomfortable. I’m getting maybe 3-4 hours of broken sleep a night as of the last week. I feel anxious and like I’m going to cry all the time. I’m definitely starting to get irritable and trying not to snap on people. I know this is all pretty normal and I wAntED tHiS 🙄 which I DO want my baby, but doesn’t mean pregnancy is all sunshine and rainbows. I just don’t know how I’m going to keep it together for the next 2 months.

Came here to say the same thing. 30 on Friday and a FTM. Just had a breakdown because everything is happening so quickly, but it is so far away. Nursery is still a storage room. Living room is overflowing with car seat and stroller boxes that just arrived. My car is a disaster. And I can’t fully empty my bladder which is constantly full. Just having a good cry.

I feel you, 31 weeks on Friday

@Carly I’m so sorry 😭 I feel you. I wouldn’t have the energy to deal with any of it. One thing that’s been getting me through is I’ve seen some moms say that the newborn phase is better than pregnancy and we will get some relief.

Luckily I have a super supportive partner, but not being able to take meds for ADHD has me feeling especially useless because I get so overwhelmed. Anyways, now I’m eating a giant cookie in bed and cuddling my soul cat. Luckily my mood is likely to swing up tomorrow morning lol.

Same! My husband has been amazing and does what he can. That’s so funny, I’m in bed eating McDonald’s 😅 and exactly, the latter half of the day is especially hard for me lol.

felt😭 haven’t even started on a nursery cause i’m getting ready to move on top of having to worry about getting saving for a car cause my current help is literally moving to a different state

29 weeks and it’s OFF WITH THEIR HEADS😂😂😂

@jasmine So sorry girl 😭 that sounds stressful. I don’t really have a nursery because I live in a one bedroom apartment so we have a bassinet and a clothing rack/shelf. Which honestly I’m cool with, I think a nursery would overwhelm me rn.

@Brit lmaooooo I kind of feel this today because I babysat my nieces and the 3 year old was giving hella attitude and I was just giving it back, no gentle aunting today

@Carly you can take something, at least my doctor gave me something especially with my morning sickness again . I have 2 girls, 7 & 23 mths so I be needing a little extra support in case I need to chillax

Ughh I could have wrote thiss! So feel ya! Baby feels like shes clawing out my belly button! Im like how are you going to double in size the next 2 months! ❤️❤️

Hi! I’m a second time mama (my first is only a year old) and I wish beyond anything I could go back in time and tell myself to do everything in my power to relax. I felt this EXACT same way my whole first pregnancy. It made time move very slow, especially these last couple months. I talked myself into being so miserable. Your baby will be here in no time and these are the last couple of weeks before your life endures it’s biggest change ever. With that being said though, I hate being pregnant 😂 but being a mama is sooooo worth it!!

Girl same. This part sucks. Almost there, just day by day

@Katie thank you 🥹 I have to remind myself that the only person expecting so much out of me… is me. Everyone else is like you’re pregnant, chill out 😂 Sometimes I think I expect more of out myself than I did pre pregnancy me and that’s just crazy! But you’re right. I should focus on enjoying these last couple months alone with my husband and only doing what is vital.

In the same boat and posted kind of the same post. I am two weeks behind u and already cant stand it. Same question - how in the world to hang in there for 2.5 m more. I find that the only thing that helps me get distracted is work.

@Katia ughhh seriously!! I’m pretty nervous for when the time does come, but I don’t want to be pregnant and miserable anymore so I want time slow down and speed up at the same time lol.

This is my second, but i totally hear u on the time controversy thing. With this one i am sooo ready. I cannot stand being pregnant. I am that person who is affected by all kinds of symptoms and have to tale meds for nausea. Still!

And i cannot relate at all to women who are on cloud 9 being pregnant with 0 symptoms. Lucky

32 weeks today and I barely get any sleep but all I want to do is sleep, I have to take it easy since I was already admitted for preterm labor( was so happy that they stopped the contractions) ( that happened at 29 weeks) but this is crazy to experience. FTM here lol

30 weeks and I gave up lol 😂 I’m at peace with having my husband or sister or literally anyone of my family help me with the nursery which will be simple get curtains a rug possibly a dresser. I basically have all the essentials for baby. I am now focusing on being spoiled and mentally prepared for the birth and postpartum. Keep in mind, being pregnant will have your mind working overtime in order to prepare, and try to do too much when in reality all that stuff will work itself out in the end. I know my mom survived with less. Remember to not overdue it ladies! Don’t fall for the endless advertising! Your baby will need your love most of all ❤️ take care!
