My son only eats meat and cheese

Please any recipe or food that your little ones really love? I’m stuck I don’t have any variety in my son’s diet. No vegetable no bread. Is it that bad?

Little Orzo pasta with roasted veg sauce x

If you've ruled out peanut allergy my son will always eat peanut butter on pitta bread even if he doesn't want anything else from feeling ill or teething. Things he really likes pesto pasta, lentil dahl, avocado, fish cakes, corn on the cob, yogurts with fruit mixed in, meatballs. Can you start by adding veg to things he will eat? Like beef meatballs with grated veg added in or meat in a tomato sauce

We went through this stage, now she’s much better and will try everything again. At the time I added vegetables into everything and did it small so she wouldn’t notice in bolognaise, curry etc x

Yoghurt is close to cheese and my son had a phase of only eating other things if mixed with Yoghurt 😅 he also loves cucumber sticks and sweetcorn and orzo pasta like Victoria said. I do my own mushy peas just steam or microwave from frozen, smash with a tablespoon and mix a half teaspoon olive oil he loves that. You can experiment with mint but haven't tried that yet He also had some of his dad's mac and cheese today as we are trying to give him what we eat now

I'm in the same boat, it's important to keep offering different things though even if you know they won't eat it. My boy started getting fussy with his eating about 5 months ago and it's a struggle. I have to make him a 'backup' dinner of things I know he will eat. He will barely ever eat meat or cheese. It's mainly potato and broccoli that he likes
