Anyone else feel the same?

I feel down. I'm having an identity crisis. I don't know how to dress anymore. I don't want to buy clothes for the size I am but I haven't lost any weight. So I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and buy something so I feel better in myself. I'm not sure if it's this, amongst other things, or if I've got delayed postpartum depression 😕

It’s normal not to recognise yourself anymore. I definitely don’t. Your body has gone through some massive changes. To be honest the only reason I still know my style is because I always liked baggy hoodies so now I wear baggy sick-covered hoodies because they’re comfortable and they still fit me 😂

Bless you, I’d definitely see if you’ve got a family member or friend you can talk to about how you are feeling. 💔 sounds like you need support xxx

I have PPD and BPD. I totally feel you. Your sense of self completely changes after a baby! It’s awfully hard to get used to your new self and your new body. Treat yourself to some new clothes! Remember your body nourished and housed a baby for 9 months!! That’s insane!! You grew a human life! From nothing! All by yourself! Your body should be celebrated for what it’s been through! Don’t be too hard on yourself, I know it’s easier said than done but just remember you have a body that nourished life, you yourself have been through A LOT this past year having a baby. Give yourself a break! If you ever need to chat I had very bad PPD and am just now feeling somewhat better again. If you need to talk to someone who gets it, don’t hesitate to drop me a message 💚 (this goes for anyone reading this who feels this way!)
