Poorly baby
My baby has a flu and has lost his appetite. He has only been drinking milk but even then only a few oz. Will his appetite naturally come back after he’s recovered? Worried as he is normally a good eater. Any tips or advice on how to build his appetite again?

His appetite will come back once he's better. Mine had sever diarrhea from teething and wasn't himself but he's slowly getting back to his old self. Just keep offering and he will be fine
It will come back….. but I was advised by a doctor to go back to get him checked if his milk intake drops less than half the normal. They need energy from their milk to help fight off the bug. It’s horrible when they are ill! 😢 x

No tips as such but just to say I went through this with my little girl last week. She was so ill bless her. She is such a good eater but was refusing everything and taking 1-2oz of a bottle where she’d usually have 3 x 8oz. Last 2 days her appetite has come back as normal, milk intake is still less (about 4-5oz per feed) but totally into her food again ☺️ I just left her sippy cup in reach with water and she would sip that xx
