Hey have you ever thought about becoming an independent travel agent. You can work around your babies then.. I’ve got. 2 year old and twin 1 year old. I just work when they sleep etc, uncapped commission on bookings and can get yourself a passive income if you wanted. It would be your own business but it’s amazing to start xx

@Zara is this the new scam/pyramid scheme? I’m tired of seeing yall talk about being a travel agent lmao. No one uses travel agents anymore

Hold on. I got you.

@Angel sounds like a multi level marketing company/pyramid scheme

These are companies I applied to and they hit me back quick, easy interview also. No scam lol I’m with bloom insurance now

@Angel no hun it’s not a scam, my friends and family use me as their agent to book their travel, and I get the commission rather than they pay a faceless online site it me and my babies get it 🤭 I understand why you’d think scam I did too sounds too good to be true because I did at first but it’s not. I’m about to open it up to my area not just family and friends now I have more time. A lot of people have jumped into to receive the benefits for themselves that’s why i did, I wanted to earn back and I’m a single mum to 3 so without it I’d never be able to take us anywhere cause it’s so pricey. There is a network marketing side to it, if you share the business and refer someone in then you do get paid, it’s multi level marketing so the more you refer the more you get paid, but you don’t have to don that side of it. You do however have that opportunity for passive income and to out rank people who are high up in the business, everyone’s on a level playing field.

@Zara girl you saying a bunch of nothing lol.

I can send you info if you wanted to hear how it works, it’s seems someone’s already told you it’s a scam, so I’d love to give the correct info if your open

@Angel no problem sorry you feel that way. It’s an amazing opportunity that can earn you a lot of money from on your own terms. But I don’t think that’s what you want to hear. I was just offering to share info with you and how it works, good luck on your search.

@Zara but why would I book through you rather than just booking myself? It makes no sense

@Charley multi level marketing and pyramid schemes are 2 different things hun, just incase you didn’t know. But yes multi level marketing is one side.. being an agent is a other side, we’re heavily regulated with the abta/atol protection, if it was a scam the biggest names in the industry wouldn’t be partnered with us or risk their reputation by being tied to an illegal scheme

@Zara I'm fully aware what a MLM and pyramid scheme is, they're essentially one and the same, mlms are just a loophole and have a product to sell as pyramid schemes are illegal. I never said scam, I said it makes no sense. Why would I book through someone else instead of booking myself. MLMs are not a sustainable way to make money, the overwhelming majority of people in them lose money, or don't break even, never mind making a living wage.

@Charley it’s an opportunity to support a small business. Why not help a family and support small as opposed to paying someone you don’t know. We don’t know each other but maybe you have friends who do it, would you not support them in a business rather than pay someone you don’t know ? You could become an agent and book yourself and gain back the commission that you’re paying to a faceless website.. then your saving money aswell as getting agent rates.. the reason I started so I get the best rates as a single mum to 3 and can earn money back.. now I book for family and friends and earn money back for their holiday x

I'm not a travel agent but I work for an airline (TUI UK) and I have a lot of contact with travel agents so yeah people still use them a lot believe or not, specially the elderly

@Charley pyramid schemes also mean that someone earns more than you mlm means is based off your effort you can out do who refers you.

@Zara because I can book direct with the company, for example I booked flights with BA, and 3 hotels directly with the hotel companies in Mexico for a multi location holiday for less than a travel agent could get it for me. So why use a travel agent at all. I'm paying the company directly, not an in-between person. But also, you're not a small business. You're in an MLM

@Charley exactly. No one uses travel agents anymore .. maybe old people do lmao

@Charley my clients use me for a personal experience and I deal with the headache. Of course there are perks to the job as with anything, that’s why people sign up and do it just for themselves. My travel agent business is my own.. and sharing the business and receiving a passive income is mlm. If I decide to stop sharing the opportunity and referring people to it then my travel business will still stay if I choose to keep it open and keep my clients.. 2 different things.. Anyways thanks for you time and perspective. The opportunity there if you wanted to hear more, it’s just an option.

@Angel my clients are usually the younger gen, who are travelling and backpacking.. Between 20-50 is the age range of my clients.. teachers, corporate workers who don’t have time to look for their own deals.. but I’ll happily help my retired neighbours find the deals that suits what they’re after

@Zara I will literally never never support an MLM business, they're predatory and awful. No matter what product they're selling.
