Throwing food 😩

Right there with you. It’s absolutely intentional and he looks for where our dog is too 🙃🙃 I’ve read that you should calmly say “all done?” And take the plate away when they start throwing as it’s usually a cue that they are no longer hungry, but I’ve tried and he cries for the plate back!

we have the same situation and i removed his plate and give him food just on the table..he is throwing the plate full of food and when i feed him puree..i keep the bowl and just give him a spoon to play with

My girl is the exact same, normally always dinner more than lunch. Maybe she’s letting me know I suck at cooking 😂

Mines the same! I have to just take the food away and give her little bits at a time 😫

Same! And it’s coincided with her not eating a lot. I’m hoping it’s a phase because by the third meal of the day I am done 🙈🤣

Same here! I just completely ignore it at the moment and I have heard that in time when they are a little bigger that you can put another plate or something there for them to put food they don’t want. I’m no where ready to introduce that yet as I know it won’t work at the moment. Xx

Glad I’m not the only one!! We’ve had to shut the dog in the kitchen as she was eating far too much dropped food 🤣 I’ve heard about the plate for rejected food too but I definitely don’t think my LO would understand that yet! I will just have to persevere with the mess 😫 It’s amazing how far yoghurt can splatter 🙈
