No oven

Hi We’ve recently moved house and we don’t have an oven. This means I only have a microwave, toaster, air fryer or slow cooker for cooking food. My baby is 6 months and we’ve started BLW. Please can I have some ideas of foods that I can do for her without using an oven/hobs

Omelette Fritters Waffles Scrambled egg Toast Stew Casserole Mash potato Pasta meals You can basically cook anything in an air fryer

Hummus, pb, avocado, tahini on toast were good for us, he didn’t really eat much until he got some teeth but I still offered him food at least once a day. He got his teeth around 8 months.

Steamed carrots, peas, broccoli. Mashed potatoes. Stews or slowcooked chicken cooked in broth or water then shredded Waffles. Toast. Bagel Avocado slices. Banana. Sliced grapes. Strawberry. Seasonal fruit. Eggs. (I saw a recipe for airfryer. scrambled eggs.) Turkey lunch meat riped into pieces. Pb&j Hope this helps! We've been BLW since 5 1/2months and she didn't get her teeth until last month (8months). I would also consider saving and getting an a small instapot. 😊

Any meat cooked to well done in an airfryer or slow cooker will work. Try some iron rich food first xx

@Devon How would you do an omelette? Usually I’d do this is a frying pan on the hobs

@India We are having beef in the slow cooker later would this be safe for her to eat as it’s usually very tender and falls apart

So long as it's no added salt yes! Brilliant food for baby to have, cut into a but about the size of 2 fingers and watch baby eat xx
