Picky eating help

Our daughter has always been on the pickier side but recently she’s really ramped it up specifically at dinner time! Very resistant to try new food and usually a quick no to anything new! We offer her boring bedtime porridge to make sure she doesn’t go to bed hungry. Tried new seats, plates, encouragement, not paying attention. Anyone in the same boat or have any ideas or anything that’s worked? 🤞

Yeah we are the same, it’s so frustrating. She won’t eat sandwiches or fruit, only bananas. Then we have the same regular meals like spag Bol, lasagne, pasta as she doesn’t eat anything else, so now I don’t really offer anything new anymore as I know she won’t eat it but I feel like bad as she isn’t getting any variety ☹️ what does your eat? Xx

None of mine have ever been picky but 1 has just started refusing lots of foods he normally loves so maybe (hopefully) it's a phase?? The joy of having 3 kids is there's no time to make anything different so we don't and he still sleeps fine if that helps allay any concerns re:waking up hungry

@Danielle really just toast, pretty much all fruit, cheese, yogurt, most meat and crackers! Pretty much all dinner foods are vetoed by her like pasta and rice - it’s so tricky! Hopefully it’s just a phase

In the same boat here too, little one getting fussier by the minute. Will just eat the same foods on rotation and new things are an instant no
