Resentment.
I'm so sick of being accused of the little things my SD does for instance, she used the remote today and didn't put it back where it should be and it's now missing. My husband straight up came and asked me where the remote was and I told him I don't know, he went ahead and said who else has it if it's not me and my SD was right there and didn't say a word. This kind of thing is honestly making me resentment my husband and SD. SD is 8 and capable of moving things around but I get blamed for it all the time!

I think you can kindly point out there are 3 people in the house and lots of ways it could have been misplaced without it becoming a you vs. his kid thing. He probably did it himself and forgot. 🙄 Let him know this is a good opportunity to unite all of you to look for it together rather than throw around blame. First one to find it gets a cookie! 🍪
