Milk

Hi ladies My little boy is almost 15 months. I was wondering what everyone else's LO milk intake is and what times do they have it. My little one has a bottle before bed and that's it, unless he's poorly and doesn't eat anything. Recently had a doctors visit and they asked about his milk and food. They're happy with how much food he eats and his diet but, he was shocked he only has 1 bottle.

Really? We've been on one bottle almost since she was 12 months old. She gets what she needs from food. The bottle is more so for comfort. The only time she has another is when she's sick because then she doesn't eat and wakes in the night hungry and upset (not great for her teeth I know but you have to pick your battles) 🤣

My son has a bottle in the morning and before bed. Sometimes a small one in the day 😳 he is on the 98th percentile since he was 6 weeks not sure if that’s why or he just loves milk 😅 🤷🏽‍♀️x

My lg doesn’t have any bottles and since she started eating dropped them pretty quickly. She was tiny when born and never managed the ounces for her age either. She has milk on cereal and in cups if she wants but mostly drinks water xx

My lo is still on three bottles a day x

My girl has barely any milk - not that I don't try just that she's not that bothered about it. She has calcium and dairy in other ways I guess

I’d been wondering the same thing. My LO still has three bottles a day and finishes them. At what point do we reduce them?! He does eat food too but just something fairly light at lunch and a good meal at teatime x

@Helen I'd still be giving him milk now, tbh but it's been him refusing them all. I saw another doctor yesterday, and she said his milk intake is perfectly fine because of his food intake (she said hes obviously eating enough food to fill him up) as well as his vitamin he has every day. X

My boy has 6oz when he wakes up then 8oz before bed x
