Yoto has a longer lifespan as there is more available for them for older children. I have the tonie box and wish I’d got the yoto. Edit : it seems like the Tonies have realised this is an issue and they are releasing more content for older children.

Team yoto. Used it every day since she was about 1. Lots of features the tonie doesn’t have, a lot cheaper, more choices (all ages, languages, music, stories), free app for on the go, better bundles and deals.

My son has had a Tonie box for 3 years now. He's 5, bright and curious, he loves the Julia Donaldson stories and we've started to buy him the roald Dahl and horrible histories ones. He puts a Tonie on every night after bedtime story and will sometimes go and listen to a story when he feels like it. It's been one of the best gifts we ever got him. Seriously considering getting one for our little girl as she loves her brother's tonie box.

My son loves his. He was 2 in May and got one for Christmas last year. He’s collected lots of the little characters and they are very good quality . His favourites are the Disney ones and they have lots of music before the story begins xx

My little boy has a Tonie box that he uses to get him to sleep x

Depends how old he is. My son got a Toni box for his 2nd birthday. He still loves it now he’s 3. I’ve heard the Yoto is great but I was put off by the cards with my little one being so young. He loves the characters for the Toni box
