Not enjoying being a mom

I feel like my daughter is just not happy. She seems to be upset all the time. Everywhere I take her to have fun she ends up fussing and crying. When we try do activities at home she’s not interested. Feeling really frustrated and sad

does she enjoy independent play at home?

Here and there but not as much as previously

That sounds so hard. You're not alone. I'm having trouble enjoying my little one right now. Fits and tantrums all the time. People keep telling me it's a phase so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

It’s ok to not enjoy being a mom but as long as your trying I think that’s all that matter some kids are just so fussy and cry ALOT I’ve read a million books now on parenting tried everything out there my daughters two now and she cried for about a year and a half straight when she was little it gets better and you’ll feel better when they calm down

Hang in there mama! My son was literally the same, do you have a lot of limitations for her wherever you go? Does she have a lot of limitations at home? I noticed my son only liked being home and would fuss so much when we went out. I found out that he did that like to go out because 1) he was too small to move around and participate the way he wanted to and 2) I kind of let him explore a lot more at home, the only thing off limit is climbing furniture and touching plugs/outlets/ wires and basically anything that he could harm himself with. Everything else is pretty much free game.

Feel free to message me if you just need tk vent or would like some support!

It’s all so exhausting. Mine can go from cute to hitting me in a matter of seconds. I hope that you can find some joy in the good times that will carry you through the tough ones. I have a baseline sense of tension at basically all times. Do the best you can and give yourself some credit. That’s what helps us keep going

I was just feeling burnt out. Ifk how to overcome it. I wanna enjoy my baby but I'm tired and all she does is fuss

@Sarah me to..I have twins and this phase is breaking me

Have you thought of getting her checked out for possible autism? She could be a different type of thinker and may have difficulty with overstimulating environments.

My son is like this as well. Very exhausting. Constantly crying and non verbal still so it's hard to figure out what is wrong
