Pregnancy after loss

Im pregnant again after losing my twins at the start of the year. Im still early (only 7 or 8 weeks) but ive been cramping and sore but cannot get a doctor or nurse to help me even though ive explained my previous pregnancy to them. Does anyone know who will see me before 12 weeks?

I'm so sorry to hear what you have through. Unfortunately Ive had multiple miscarriages . In my experience at the early stages there isnt anything a doctor or nurse can do. Ive had three losses around the 6 week mark and one later. In the case of the earlier losses i rang the early pregnancy unit at the royal and they wudnt even scan me. I was advised to wait at home for 2 days and if bleeding not stopped come in for scan then for them to assess whether pregnancy viable. They have never offered any medical intervention. I really hope your okay and the pain settles and the pregnancy progresses

I lost 2 pregnancies before having my son in the Summer. The Early Pregnancy Unit at Antrim Area were amazing and saw me any time I was concerned. If you're within their catchment area I would give them a call.

Same as the others, the EPU in Antrim saw me for 7 week reassurance scan for my second pregnancy, which was 2 years after a miscarriage. They are open weekends and are amazing x
