My baby is exactly like this. I don't know what to do.
Won't eat even if given a pre-loaded spoon to feed herself?
@Enikő whenever I’m eating she wants to grab the food and put it in her mouth but didn’t dare to give her yet
@Cheryl she takes the spoon and put it in her mouth but when she finds food she grunts 😅
My baby loved the purées when we started but now will not touch it, she’s loving baby led weaning instead so we are just giving her bit of our food, steamed veg sticks, pieces of fruit etc. She’ll pretty much eat anything!
My baby was ok with purees for a little while but soon wanted more texture so i now just mush things with a fork. I had abload of purees to use up so added to pasta, weetabix etc so that they didnt go to waste. I am not ‘pro’ BLW but babies are surprisingly goo at handling food. This is my 6 month old for example
My lb was the same, I think he got bored of the same textures so I tried BLW which I was always terrified to do but he’s blossomed since and loves everything. He just wanted to do it himself, it is scary at times but they are so good at working it out themselves especially if they’re a curious little one!
is she interested in baby led weaning and finger foods at all?
