I started about a week ago and have been giving her cooked veg, mashed up, and sometimes make it into finger foods. I've also given her a few fruits, blueberries, banana, and watermelon. Today I'm going to give her egg which is am allergen, so I'll just introduce a new one every couple days, then start mixed foods. Hope this helps a bit

@Jodie I was thinking of introducing egg today, but my baby is 5.5 months. How old is yours?

I am following the ‘how to wean your baby’ book by introducing 1 veg a day and it’s working well. Each day my LO is having more

I’d like to know this as I tried with my little girl and she is not interested in the slightest x

Try sitting them with you at mealtimes and make a big deal about eating. Show them you're eating and saying yum, mmm etc 😄 we were doing this at about 4 months just because it was fun, so he was very ready at about 5.5 months as he was watching the food go from plate to mouth and smiling

Hi, we started at 5.5 months and just got Ella's kitchen pouches to test out what he likes and doesn't like. Start with fewer sweet food options first so they get used to bitter taste and then introduce fruits, which are more sugary. We didn't have a plan as such, wejust gave him everything, and he loves it! Once I know what he likes I can now make my own stuff such as avocado and banana, porridge, butternut squash and flaked salmon ect

@Sarah she just turned 6 months yesterday

We’ve mostly been doing 1 food a day. Doing a mix of homemade purées and BLW. Mainly just fruit and veggies at the moment x
