Christmas & birthday!

Ive got him the Vtech First Steps Walker & plan to get the Activity Table too! Along with that ive just picked up a selection of toys and books relevant to his age and development as we have never really bought him much toys so far! Some great bits in home bargains/b&m and smyths!

My wee boy will be 1 in January. I also have a wee boy who will be 3 in December.. so iv been doing birthdays and Christmas all in the one month now for 3 years, so my toddler litterlly had everything my baby needs or wants 😔 I'm finding it really hard!!

I’m trying to find things that are developmentally suitable to last till they are 2 it’s so hard having a Christmas and birthday together. I’ve got an activity table, a ride on train, a little cat that comes in a carry case and the case plays tunes and what not. The bouncing beats dj from fisher price. I’ll get some bath toys now she’s beginning to play in the bath. I want to get a walker too.

My little boy is 3 in Nov then my little girls 1 in Jan (and my partners birthday is Xmas eve) so we have a very expensive few months. I’m the same in being on my unpaid mat leave now so I’m just getting things that they ‘need’ and leaving ‘fun’ things like toys to family to get. So we’ll just be getting clothes/pjs, bedding etc. when they’re so young (especially the baby) they aren’t going to remember and often have more fun with the box 😅 and as long as it’s bluey or spiderman related my older boy will be chuffed 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

@Megan omg! Same with my kids (different dates)! Also have you checked Facebook market? I got my son a free ikea kitchen, cleaned it up, added some bits from home and covered with left over vinyl -he loved it
