Food question

My son eats pretty well, breakfast isn’t an issue we typically do the same alternate foods and dinner is usually what I make or left overs. But lunch….what do you feed your toddlers…I feel like it’s always chicken nuggets or fish sticks with fruit, sometimes fries, and cheese crackers or animal crackers. But I feel like there has to be something else he will eat. My MIL makes us homemade uncrustables and we’ve tried to get him to try them but he doesn’t like them. He likes my husbands grilled cheese sometimes and cut up hotdogs…:does any other mamas have suggestions? What do you feed your toddlers for lunch?

I gave my baby ravioli the other day (spinach and cheese, no sauce) and she loved it! Even cold straight out of the fridge. She also loves dipping so if she gets board I plan to switch it up and offer her a dipping sauce puddle. I feel the same struggle of wanting to offer a variety and make sure she doesn’t turn out picky lol

Quesadillas (with rotisserie chicken or black beans or avocado) peanut butter or cream cheese on Ritz, soups, hard boiled egg (if she didn't have eggs for breakfast) Crescent rolls and put ham/turkey and cheese or sauce with cheese (like pizza) roll them up and bake.

@Richele my son doesn’t like the baby ravioli but does like either ravioli I make us or the chef boyardee ravioli. He also likes the Gerber spaghetti os but I save anything with sauce until dinner so we can put him in the bath. We also found out he loves raw broccoli (washed of course)

Sometimes we do scrambled eggs for lunch with avocado, maybe toast or crackers. Yogurt with fruit. Tuna salad could be worth a try, we make it with canned mixed veggies. Mac n cheese with frozen vegetables cooked inside is another easy one. Oatmeal with dried cranberries and chia seeds, a little sugar and salt. I would say peanut butter and jelly had you not mentioned he doesn't like them! I let go of my idea that things like eggs, oatmeal and yogurt were only breakfast foods. Life got way easier. 😅

sometimes i’ll make an open face tuna sandwich for her but honestly most days we do grapes cheese and crackers
