Nuby Rapid Cool Question

Hey, does anyone have a nuby rapid cool set? If so, how can I sterilise them without a UV steriliser or Milton tablet cold water sterilising, can I just boil it in hot water??

I had one, but I think I use to put mine (the main body) in the steam steriliser or just wash as regular and you could put a sterilising tab in the main compartment, the manufacturers instructions are specific as I think maybe it's the lid with the sensors that you need to be careful with that you wouldn't be able to put in a microwave, dishwash etc. I used mine regularly and gave it a wash and sterilise according to instructions and it was just fine only to be aware of the lid.

The Nuby UV Steriliser is amazing. Definitely worth the purchase.

I've used boiling hot water before now when I've ran out of milton tablets. But if I'm honest when she got to a like 3 months I stopped as I use the hot shot method, so I'm putting boiled water in the flask and then boiled water into the cooler. And she's been fine no problems at all

@Leanne great - thank you!! This is useful to know. We’ll only be using it for 1 bottle a day so didn’t want to buy a specific steriliser if there was another way I could do it so the hot shot method sounds good.

Boiling the Nuby Rapid Cool set in hot water is a great way to sterilise it without a UV sterilizer or Milton tablet cold water sterilising. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions on how to boil and sterilise the set properly. It's a simple and effective method to keep everything clean and safe for your little one.

I’ve never sterilised mine as boiling water (hot shot method) has been the only thing to go in it so it’s constantly sterile.

I use Milton cold water sterilisation for the nuby including the lid but I only leave it in there for about 15 mins as its sterile after that.

Do the hot shot method then you don’t need to sterilise?
