Weaning causing stomach problems - help

I started weaning my LO this week (teaspoon of purées) and he’s been in nothing but discomfort since. He was quite a windy baby so imagine it’s his digestive system trying to adapt to the transition to solids Does anybody have any weaning tips/for a baby with sensitive stomach/or just slowly weaning your baby in general? Any foods you recommend/avoid at the start? Also how long are you introducing new foods in between? It’s such a minefield so any reccos will be massively welcome x

I'd take it really slow. Baby will take a while to adjust. It's like you've only ever eaten porridge and now you're eating chocolate. Or if you've even eaten chocolate for breakfast and felt really yucky afterwards. I'd stick with 1 flavour of puree at a time so only carrot for example. And if possible I'd homemake them as they'll be no additives in them. We let our little girl have a little taste of something that we're eating like a bit of broccoli or some toast. I've found she's more interested in trying it if we're eating. I'm a FTM and just doing what feels right for my little one and not diving too deep into research as I know it's a minefield and I'll just get lost and anxious about it all

Since weaning, my LG only 💩 every few days as stomach is adjusting. Try some gentle belly massages to help relieve the excess wind. Have you introduced water? Also the p foods are meant to help- prunes, pineapples, peaches, plums, papaya are meant to help with constipation Every few days we introduce something new x

I found LG seemed in discomfort after courgette so then I looked up some foods and carrot seemed gentler on her stomach... she also loves avocado x
