Sleep. I thought that babies would just know how to fall asleep and “sleep like babies”. Boy did the hard truth of that incorrect notion shake me to my core around 6 weeks when my LO stopped just gently falling asleep in any scenario and could then only nap in the most optimal conditions.

The amount of decisions you have to make! Constantly making decisions on someone else’s behalf is exhausting!

Baby brain, I can't remember hardly anything. I have like 2 calendars in my brain, one where I am completely free anyday and anytime and the other one where I have all the regular appointments and things and I often double book and have to cancel things 🫤 it is very annoying.
