BLW food ideas

I’ve only really given my baby little bite size bits on the plate for her to experiment with while giving her puree but she’s started to completely refuse puree now so I’m stuck with ideas for lunch and dinner! I normally give her whatever we’ve made for dinner but mashed (chilli / spag Bol ) and she’s had BLW things like bite size toast, pancakes etc Can anyone give me any ideas of how I can give the whole lunch/ dinner as BLW? She will only take to bite size as she stuff too much in her mouth otherwise

So with spaghetti bolognaise as an example you can serve as is, just ensure any added veg eg carrots and onion are no bigger than half an inch. Pasta whichever you choose can be served as is because it’s soft. Chilli also can be served as is (ensuring added veg is appropriate size) and just serve the rice with it ☺️ If you are doing say a beef stew, you’d shred the chunks of beef and again check the size of the veg if serving it chopped instead of finger length and width. Hope this helps a bit? There is a fab BLW educational group on Facebook called weaning the BLW way ☺️

The what mummy makes book is really good

Follow the solid starts app of how to cut things. I would use the 6 month recommendations until she’s more used to it. With putting all the food in I would let her as she needs to learn that’s not how to do it x
