Iron infusions

It’s just them giving you iron through Iv I had to do it because I’m anemic

@Tyachuria was your anemia really bad? I have mild anemia and my doctor didn’t want to give me one. I’m taking just pills and it’s not helping

Following bc I’m scheduled to get one next week. I’ve got mild anemia.

The iron pills help a little bit but iron infusion work better and it made me feel way better

I had to take iron pills with my first and this time around they started me on the pills until I got the infusion. Sooooo much better in my opinion. It’ll take a few days to fill the effects, but I personally think it’s much better than the pills. Plus, it’s a one time treatment in most cases and you don’t have to take a pill every day.

I also will be starting infusions next week. I've developed anemia too and just started iron pills but they want me to try to have 3 infusions before baby comes. I'm 37 weeks tomorrow.

It's just like having an iv in just takes a little longer for your body to absorb. I brought my laptop and watched a movie every infusion
