Anyone else?! Or is it just mine??!?

My toddler will not any veg whatsoever or solid fruit. He used to be such a good little eater and the past few weeks have been hard work trying to get any veg in him. I usually can get away with mixing it in stuff but he's becoming wise to my methods! Not sure what to do..I always put veg on his plate which he always leaves. Same with fruit, (can only get him to have fruit pouches which isn't ideal). He's even started to refuse certain meals he used to love! Pls tell me it's not just me, feeling like a failure! 😞

Yes!! Although mine has been fussy for much longer. I have to offer a fruit pouch or make a smoothie, which he does love. He used to eat watermelon but won't even touch it now. He doesn't eat any veg. It's so disappointing and we always offer but it's frustrating, so I understand

Oh, the only thing he will eat is corn on the cob. Don't know if you've tried that

I'll give it ago! I've tried sweetcorn on its own but maybe on the cob might be different! I've even tried giving him orange juice in his cup and he won't even have that, will only drink water! He won't even eat at nursery, I think he mainly just ate bread all day yesterday. Hopefully it won't be forever and they will grow out of it! 🤞 I'll keep offering, just feels so wasteful as well!

My lg is super fussy when we were weaning she’d eat most things now it’s a real fight she try’s things at nursery but not at home we keep offering but give her a fruit pouch to make sure she eats some fruit

Mine never eats veg, the only thing he will have is corn on the cob

Yes, I miss the stage where my boy would just munch on broccoli and carrots happily! He won’t eat veg now unless it’s been blended into a sauce so he doesn’t realise, or if it’s cauliflower cheese! But I keep putting the veg on his plate every day, and hope with constant exposure he’ll come back to it

Does your boy like pasta in tomato sauce? If he does, I find that a good way to get veggies in by just blending some extra veg into a tomato sauce
