Toddler not eating

No matter what I do what I make he doesn’t even try the food he’ll snack on things but not eat a nice warm meal it’s been going on for about a week I don’t know if there’s a possibility he just is working on some more teeth or maybe be constipated but I need advice bad it’s just so frustrating to see him not even look interested in anything

It could definitely be teething or maybe a viral infection? Don’t stress it too much mama, my toddler does the same thing occasionally. One week she’ll be eating everything in the house and the next want a single blueberry and a slice of cheese. Try offering little enticing healthy snacks or things easy on the mouth/tummy (applesauce, fruit, yogurt, etc). If he refuses, just simply put it away and try again later. Try to space it out so he doesn’t have snacks close to a meal time so he might feel more inclined to eat a meal, but fed is best so as long as he’s getting SOMETHING in his tummy, don’t worry too much

Thank you so much. This really eased my mind a lot. He is the same way one week he’s fine the next he won’t touch a single thing He definitely gets a little snacks in and we give him half-and-half PediaSure and milk so that he’s not lacking in nutrients I just checked his mouth and he definitely has his two ball canines trying to come through. that is a lot more stress too.

Mine does the same, i find it so stressful. 🫣 especially when you spend ages cooking a healthy nutritional meal and the only thing she will eat is some chips or a bit of fruit 🫠🫠

@Kristine exactly! And we can already barely afford basic needs. So it definitely gets a tad frustrating.

It sounds like you're really struggling with your little one not wanting to eat warm meals. It can be frustrating when they show no interest in food. Teething or constipation could indeed be factors. Have you tried offering softer foods that might be easier on his gums? Maybe consult with your HV to rule out any underlying issues. Hang in there! Parenting can be challenging, but you're doing great!
