Maternity Pay
Hi, FTM from the UK looking for advice. I started maternity the beginning of October and have received my payslip and there’s no maternity pay on there. Is this paid seperate please?

Mine was paid via my employer. Have you not been paid any money or have they paid what they should anyway?
For the first 6 weeks you get 90% of your paycheck as statutory..could it be that? X

Did you definitely start 'maternity leave' or have you got some annual leave you're using first? It may vary per company but for mine I was paid my wage and mat pay, my wage was then marked as a deduction along with tax etc. Initially however they'd forgotten to start my mat pay and I was getting payed as normal so I had to flag it yo HR as of course they would need the overpayment paying back. Best to check with HR / payroll to be sure x
