This is not a question about babies or being a mom

My mom is currently in the hospital with CHF and cirrhosis of the liver I’m here with her now and I just want to understand why she’s so hot but no fever? She’s crying saying she’s burning up. The staff turned her room down to 60, I stripped her completely down to where her privates are the only things that are covered and I put ice cold washcloths all over her body head to toes but she’s still complaining that she’s hot. The nurse said he’s unsure about why she’s feeling this way and the doctor won’t be in til 8am. Has anyone gone through this or is in the health care field that knows? Is this the ending stages of CHF or cirrhosis of the liver?
