Ive been having sex throughout pregnancy- the last time was the other day at 39weeks… it’s definitely not as sexy but we find positions that work for us! Spooning is our ‘go to’ probably. Good luck x

We didn’t have sex for ages as it was so uncomfortable!! We’ve recently started to do it again… and made time for each other (we do have a 3 year old) My partner also works nights and during the summer holidays we had our toddler around all the time so couldn’t physically do it. We’ve been doing it for a few weeks now (from about 36w) and I’m 40+2.. no signs yet!! X 😅

We had sex last week for the first time in months to help get baby out (I'm 40+6) the first two tries were embarrassing and I ended up getting frustrated and upset because its so hard with a huge bump. But the third go we finally got a good position (on all fours) and it was great. Didn't help getting baby out though 😂

We've been having sex up until now. Don't get me wrong, it can be uncomfortable, and there's only two positions we can do, but we've found it quite loving and a nice experience xx

I haven't for a couple weeks but am starting sweeps today (38 weeks) so will get back to it as it increases the chances of the sweep being effective.

Defo go for it if you feel like it 😊🙌🏼 I'm 38 weeks now and we had sex earlier this week and it was wonderful. Actually very enjoyable. It's all about comfortable position, being relaxed and communication. 🫶🏽

It can definitely work out once you get in the mood to connect with one another and find the right position. Some couples therapists say it’s a bit like exercise as in the more you do, the more you feel better after it as a couple. 🙏

What about speed and stuff (if you know what I mean😅)? Do you guys go quick, does he finish inside, and does he go deep? Won't reach baby or make my cervix bleed, right? I know these questions are super dumb but I'm an FTM and have never been through these things 😂

Go for it! We’ve had to move our activities to a yoga mat on the floor cus I was worried how the bed would cope with all my extra weight, the springs are already groaning when I get into bed or turn over. It’s a great way to connect with each other before baby, and my husband is loving all the extra wife atm, he’s like Moto Moto from Madagascar

He's very gentle as he's worried about harming the baby (even though he won't). We do a position where I'm on my side, so it's comfortable for my stomach, and it can be quite deep, and he does finish inside 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 but it can't get to the baby cause my cervix is closed, I've not lost my mucus plug yet or anything so. And no, I don't bleed at all. Don't be silly. Nothing is dumb on here, I've read worse 🤣 xx

@Valerie Him from behind, I get to relax and do nothing 😆 Or me on top which is more demanding and I'm obviously slow, or on the sofa him lying down, me on top and one leg on the floor (super hard work atm but nice)

Yes if you want it to speed things along you want him to finish inside, as sperm contains prostaglandin which helps the cervix ripen or something. They use a version in inductions I think.

We’ve consistently had sex throughout pregnancy and my advice would be that each time you’ve just got to find what works in the moment, sometimes a certain position will be ok and the next it won’t feel comfortable. One time may feel better than the last or the opposite! Just make sure your partner knows to start easy and let you build up to what you are comfortable with!

We’ve been having sex every night this week to try and get things moving. I’m 39 weeks tomorrow. We’ve adjusted positions slightly to be more comfortable

I’m 38 weeks on Monday and me and my fella have been having sex the whole way through my pregnancy even now! Everything is fine 😂🩷

I’ve been having sex during my entire pregnancy and have found this week that I feel sore inside my vagina after it, anyone else? I’m 38+5 atm. It feels like a stretching feeling not sure if it’s my cervix or just discomfort from positions!
